Can I get a restrictor for my window?
It is possible to purchase a restrictor for a centre-pivot and top-hung windows.
Centre-pivot windows
For centre-pivot windows, you can purchase the restrictor (ZOZ 010K) from the VELUX website below.

Top-hung windows
For top-hung windows, VELUX can offer the ZZZ 164K. This is a permanent fixture into the window mechanism, which limits the opening of the sash from maximum of 45°, down to a maximum of 27°. The permanent nature of the restrictor, and the angle of travel it allows does not normally satisfy the safety requirement for escape, or the prevention of climbing through, so this should be considered. The only solution VELUX can offer to satisfy these requirements, is to replace the standard handle with a locking handle.
